The state of our roads is consistently raised with me by local residents and remains a great source of frustration for drivers and bus passengers alike.
I am pleased that Cornwall Council will receive £25,960,000 in 2017/2018 for road maintenance.
This includes £1,847,000 funding for repairing potholes. It builds on the £1,267,000 we got last year for potholes. This is good news for families and businesses in Cornwall who rely on our roads to get around and is part of our plan, delivering investment in local infrastructure, building a Britain that works for local people and businesses here and around the country.
